This has been a week for launches.

I’m re-launching the website, of course. Minor redesign, a little streamlining, and the new blog. (Don’t be too worried that The Letter Mage seems to have vanished—there are long-term re-launching plans there too!) But the big, exciting launch was the launch of From Arthur’s Seat: Volume V, the anthology put out by my cohort at the University of Edinburgh.

Since the fall semester, we’ve been hard at work on this project. From Arthur’s Seat is a place for the MSc Creative Writing students to showcase what we’ve been working on. For many of us it’s a first publication. The anthology is student-produced all the way up to the Editor-in-Chief (my wonderful friend Lena Kraus), and most of the cohort was involved in some way. Editors. Proofreaders. Cover design. Marketing. Getting things printed. Event planning was supposed to be my game, but then the world went into lockdown and the social media team took over for an online launch.

On one hand, that’s extremely disappointing, but on the other, I can share the entirety of the launch with you guys! We did three live-streaming events. I read my work in the first and hosted the second. I wasn’t present at the third—it was on my birthday, another launch, age 29—but I’ve got all three embedded below.
