I took a step into the thick, green air and nearly drowned.
It was hot here. The descent had been beautiful—green, and humid, and bumpy, which I hadn’t expected—and the environment was beautiful. It was sunset here, and bioluminescent flowers dotted the trees under golden light. But I hadn’t realized how cool the ship was. How dry the ship was. I nearly turned around and went back to the ice moon.
That was my first impression of the jungle.
