Release Day: The Counterfeit Alphabet

The Letter Mage #8: The Counterfeit Alphabet is now out and available for Patrons to read! If you're not a Patron yet, it's not too late--new Patrons have access to all previously-published installments.

I am so, so excited about this one!  The past seven installments have been setup--introducing characters, inciting conflict, raising questions. Now Aleph's starting to take charge of things. His personality gets to shine a little brighter--kid's snarky when he lets himself be.

For those of you who don't subscribe on Patreon, The Letter Mage: The Second Quarto will be out March 9th! Cover reveal is in a few days, so keep your eyes open. I also just opened up a store on the site--there may be some good deals there on the First Quarto in a few days.

In other news: I've been reading like a madman lately. I tend to pick up tons of books when I'm feeling particularly inspired, so I'm not sure if reading inspires the writing or the other way around. But if you've got suggestions for progressive, story- and character-driven specific, preferably with LGBT themes, send me a recommendation on Twitter! (I just finished reading The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue and it was incredible--a fantastic take on classic adventure stories, which eliminated all the problematic stuff and kept the heart of adventure intact. I loved it.)

Finally, if you've read and loved (or liked, or even disliked) the First Quartodon't forget to leave a review! Reviews on Amazon are as good as gold to indies (once we get a certain number, Amazon begins to recommend you to others) so tell me what you think!
